Spiral 80 Cold Room doors are designed for cold rooms and negative temperature environments. They can operate down to -25°C, making them ideal for cold chain, refrigerated warehouses and food storage rooms. The insulated hard-panel cover allows for optimal thermal-acoustic insulation, while the 400V three-phase motorization, with inverter and absolute encoder, allows quick and safe openings. Again, no ceiling anchors are required, but a heated floor sill is provided for proper operation.

Spiral 80 Special Application and Cold Room are constructed with a modular 80-mm-thick rigid panel mantle with thermal break, clad in double aluminum or pre-painted galvanized steel sheet, or stainless steel, with windowed or ventilation versions. Patented vertical sliding on high-density polyethylene guides allows rapid opening without contact between elements and without wear and tear.
Lifting is via double push-pull chain and counterweights, eliminating springs and ropes prone to breakage. Three-phase 400V motor with inverter and absolute encoder ensures opening up to 2 m/s, service continuity and durability up to 3 million cycles with periodic maintenance. The small side footprint and no ceiling fixings make installation easy even in limited spaces. Cold Rooms require a heated floor threshold to ensure operation at temperatures as low as -25°C. The thermal insulation “U” value reaches about 1 W/m²K.
